Cetilar® once again by the side of golfer Tommaso Perrino

After a year of major results and the appointment as Paralympic coach of the Italian Golf Federation, Tommaso Perrino is ready to tackle a new season on the greens, once again sponsored by Cetilar®, the brand of the pharmaceutical company PharmaNutra S.p.A. that already supported Perrino in 2019.

Currently number 5 in the WR4GD World Ranking List, Perrino will be busy in a number of tournaments in the EDGA (European Disabled Golf Association) tour, the association that promotes golf among people with disabilities, and other events in Italy, the calendar of which will be precisely defined in the coming weeks after many cancellations due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

36 years old, from Livorno, Perrino was already a talented golfer before he suffered a road accident, which – after an infection caught in hospital during rehabilitation – significantly reduced the functions in one leg, without however diminishing his desire to play golf. So he got right back onto the green, climbing to the top of the WR4GD ranking and showing everyone that obstacles are made to be overcome.

A brand that was already involved in Alex Zanardi’s Obiettivo3 project, set up to support and assist as many disabled persons as possible wishing to take part in the paralympic sport, which having supported Perrino in the second half of last season – which ended with a win at the Respecta Finnish Disabled Open and third place at the Rolex Pro Am disputed during the last Italian Golf Open – has now renewed the agreement also for 2020.

I have a lot of stimuli, and my new appointment as coach of the Paralympic team, for which I thank Federgolf and its Chairman Franco Chimenti, is a further drive to do my best. At the end of August we should resume the tournaments, and to be honest I can’t wait”.
