FlyingNikka 47 also wins the third stage of the Persico 69F Cup Grand Prix

Ten tests over a period of days and a sensational final, with a success in the last regatta of the series decisive for the stage victory: thus ended, with a burst of emotions and spectacle, the Persico 69F Cup Grand Prix 3.1, of scene in Malcesine, on Lake Garda, from Thursday to Saturday.

An event that had in FlyingNikka 47 brought by Roberto Lacorte and with Lorenzo Bressani and Enrico Zennaro, the winner of the series, the second success out of three participations in the circuit reserved for flying monohulls Persico 69F, just under seven meters of power capable of take flight thanks to the foil appendages.

By winning the last race of the three disputed on Saturday (third and second in the other two races), FlyingNikka 47 finished the ranking with a total of 47.5 points, six more than Young Azzurra of the young Olympians of the YC Costa Smeralda and 9.5 of Fantastica2 of the experts Celon and De Luca, who preceded by a whisker (two points) the second crew of FlyingNikka, hull number 74, with Alessio Razeto, Lorenzo De Felice and Andrea Fornaro.

“We are very happy because they have been three intense and fun days, with a crescendo, difficult and equally exciting ending. On Saturday we went out on the water separated by a single point, in three boats, and we were very good at keeping our concentration high and not making mistakes ”, explains Roberto Lacorte. “In addition to winning, which is always a pleasure given the level and quality of our opponents, we continue to learn new things about flying, skills that will be very useful for our future”.

After this stage, FlyingNikka 47 is at the top of the provisional classification of the Persico 69F circuit, which will end in November, in Porto Cervo.
