Fresh from a sumptuous performance over the weekend at the 24 Hours of Le Mans – a tenth place in the class, 14th overall, obtained with a Dallara LMP2 with lower performance than the competition – the Tuscan driver and entrepreneur Roberto Lacorte is ready to go from 600 horsepower of prototype number # 47 of Cetilar Racing, at over 20 knots of speed “skimming the water” of the Persico 69F, the fast boats just under 7 meters long and equipped with foils.

The appointment, the second of the season, is scheduled on Lake Garda (Malcesine to be precise), with the Persico 69F Cup ITAS Assicurazioni Grand Prix 2.2, three days of racing, from tomorrow until Thursday, in the same waters where mid-July, in crew with the champions Lorenzo Bressani and Enrico Zennaro, Lacorte had won the first, historic event of the newborn circuit.

Also on this occasion, two Persico 69F FlyingNikka will be in the water, both for the Yacht Club Repubblica Marinara di Pisa: hull number 47 with blue sails, carried by the Vice President and CEO of the pharmaceutical company PharmaNutra SpA, flanked by Bressani (fly controller) and Zennaro (randista); and number 74 with green sails, with a crew made up of helmsman Alessio Razeto, Lorenzo de Felice and Andrea Fornaro, third in the first stage of the circuit.

Tita will therefore be at the helm of FlyingNikka 47 only tomorrow, waiting for Lacorte to join the team on Lake Garda to race on Wednesday and Thursday, the last day of the Persico 69F Cup ITAS Assicurazioni Grand Prix 2.2, an event in which 5 “flying” boats participate. capable of reaching exceptional speeds in full foiling, offering a spectacle that has very few equals in the field of sailing.
