And victory was … Andrea Lacorte’s Vitamina Sailing, competing for the Yacht Club Repubblica Marinara di Pisa, won at Riva del Garda in the Italian leg of the European circuit of M32 catamarans, after three days characterized by so much speed and regattas conducted to perfection. In addition to the helmsman Lacorte and the Vitamina Sailing team manager Matteo De Luca, a mixed team with the English Ian Williams (six times World Match Race Champion) and Paul Campbell-James (former of the Luna Rossa team) as well as the specialist of the catamarans Marco Radman, who shared the helm with Lacorte himself.

The score of Vitamina Cetilar GAC is really super, with four partial victories out of a total of 12 races and the final success of the circuit stage with two points ahead of the Swedes of Vikings and three of the compatriots of Inga from Sweden, an exceptional result if we consider the level of the opponents.

“It was a hard-fought, well-deserved and difficult victory, both because the level of the fleet is very high, and because the weather conditions, in these days on Lake Garda, have been very variable and therefore equally demanding”, says an enthusiastic Andrea Lacorte, ready to resume the helm of Club Swan 36 Vitamina Cetilar, next week, for the Swan World Championship scheduled at Marina di Scarlino, in Tuscany. “We did well, but apart from the victory, which is always a pleasure, the satisfaction is having started this new path with Williams, Campbell-James and Radman, with whom next year, COVID permitting, we will face the European M32 circuit putting in water two boats. Well, we couldn’t have started better… ”.
