Back to the regatta at last. After a series of tough but fruitful training sessions between Lake Garda and Lake Lemano, in Switzerland, the Vitamina Sailing team is ready for its début regatta, the first of many competitions planned for 2022.

The team, racing for the Yacht Club Repubblica Marinara di Pisa, will be busy on the lake in Riva de Garda, from Thursday 12 (warm up) until Sunday 15 May, for Act I of the M32 European Series 2022, the circuit reserved for M32 catamarans which in the last few years has already been won by the team, supported in its work by Cetilar. And it will do this with two yachts, Vitamina Rapida Cetilar with Andrea Lacorte at the helm, and Vitamina Veloce Cetilar captained by Marco Radman.

In the three days of sailing on Lake Garda, a series of short, intense regattas are planned, fought close to the coast to allow the public to admire the developments of the super-fast M32 catamarans. A circuit which, after the event in Garda, will stop in the Netherlands (June), Sweden (July) and again in Riva del Garda (September, valid also for the European Championship), ahead of the grand final in Cascais, Portugal, with the World Championship from 3 to 9 October.

The Vitamina Sailing teams include Andrea Lacorte, Matteo De Luca, Adam Minoprio, Will Ryan and Stewart Dodson (Vitamina Rapida) and Marco Radman, Leonardo Chiarugi, Diego Battisti, Giovanni Bucarelli and Matteo Ferraglia (Vitamina Veloce).

“At last we’re back doing regattas, we’d been looking forward to this for some time because we are real enthusiasts and we hate to stay away from the competitions for too long,” Andrea Lacorte declared excitedly. “We trained hard during the winter, we have improved in some aspects where we were less performing. And now we are ready to defend the titles we won last year on the M32 circuit.”
